Naomi Joy Yamamoto attended the Alberta College of Art and Design.

Her art practice focused on mixed media projects, with an interest in identity politics.

Through a process of experimentation and fate, Flight Path Designs came to fruition. When she moved to Vancouver in 2008, the transition to a new city was refreshing and motivated her to take the plunge to become a full-time artist, focusing on belts, buckles, necklaces and earrings.
