Years working: After being in the design industry for 10 years and owning her own design firm, Jackie decided to close her company to pursue her life-long love of baking in Paris. She returned to her home city of Vancouver, and openedBeaucoup Bakeryin late 2012.
Personal philosophy: Food has an incredible way of inspiring, allowing a moment of rest, and creating community and connection between people.
Lessons for aspiring chefs: Taste as much as you can to expand your palate. One cannot comprehend what the highest level is until you have experienced it.
