Maji offers great Taiwanese food in Richmond

Maji is the perfect place for a night out with friends. Located in Richmond on Alexander Road, Maji serves Taiwanese food and is open for dinner until late.
The unique interior features brick walls and is a little dark inside, but it sets the mood for a late night snack and drinks.
On a recent visit, I tried some delicious Taiwanese beer, which was light and crisp in taste. For food, we started with the Stir Fried Gai Lan ($6.25). Stir-fried with garlic, the dish is delicious, although it was a bit oily.
The Taro Chicken ($8.99) came recommended by a friend. The sauce was very good, and it had a good amount of chicken and taro, although some of the chicken had bits of bone. I would order this dish again.
Overall, the food was pretty good. I shared the dishes with a friend and we still had to take some of it to go. The portions are perfect and price is great.
There is parking in the back, but during peak hours, it’s hard to find a spot. You may find yourself having to park further away.
