Working in health care

Mary Rose G.S.

Health Care Assistant Program
Victoria Campus

When I came to Sprott Shaw, I was undecided and didn’t know what to do with my career. I talked to Phil Nealy, a career advisor and he helped me get in to the Health Care Assistant Program.
English is my second language and it was a big challenge for me, but with all the help and support provided for me from the staff and instructors, I graduated with an Honours Diploma. Two weeks after completing the program, I got a job. I am now a Registered Health Care Assistant.
Thank you Sprott Shaw College for making my dreams possible.
