De Beers Diamond Jewellers celebrated the launch of their newest collection, Aria, by hosting the company’s head designer Hollie Bonneville Barden at a media luncheon at Boulevard Restaurant in Vancouver last week.

A graduate of Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design with in Jewellery Design, Bonneville Barden, 27, is the youngest head designer in the company’s prestigious history.

Flying in from London, UK, Bonneville Barden presented the company’s new Aria Collection. Each of the 36 new pieces have been arranged to express a ‘dance of light’, the diamonds personally selected in line with the company’s quest to work with the finest gems unmatched for their ‘Fire, Life, and Brilliance’.
The collection includes bracelets, rings, earrings, and necklaces as well as five models of watches.

When asked about a possible direction for the next collection, Bonneville Barden hinted she was intrigued by the cultural vitality of London, UK – where De Beers’ operation headquarters are based. De Beers clients are also able to customise their own jewellery pieces, in particular solitaires. These pieces would be created in collaboration with Bonneville Barden.

Drawing on diamond mastery since they were founded in 1888, De Beers hand-select each diamond for its unique beauty.

The luxury jewellery brand, De Beers Diamond Jewellers, was established in 2001.
It is an independently managed and operated company by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.
