“I've got a thing for Oriental women. My friends think I‘m weird. Is it OK to be attracted to a specific race?“ writes Bill from Vancouver.
“My family in China would be upset if I told them I‘m dating a white guy. Should I keep it secret?“ asks Lili.

| Dr Faizal Sahukhan | These are only some of the types of agonised questions sent to Certified Clinical Sexologist Faizal Sahukhan who will be leading a Seminar for multicultural communities in Vancouver on Nov 15 titled “Sex: Dealing with the culture clash.“
“Most ethnic communities have very conservative sexual values. For many members of families from abroad, sexual opportunities in their personal life can conflict with the attitudes of their kin, creating stress and inhibitions,” says Sahukhan.
The seminar offers individuals and couples a chance to talk about sexual culture clash, share solutions for the problems, or even make new friends. Himself from a religious family with traditional views on sexuality, Sahukhan was raised in Vancouver and is a Graduate of the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, San Francisco.
When: Nov 15, 2005, 7.30–9.30 pm
