Figures indicate that the difference in income between a person with a bachelor‘s degree and one without, can be over $14,000. A master‘s degree can increase your income by another $10,000 and a doctorate can get you roughly three times more than with just a high school diploma.

Tuition and other fees for four year colleges have more than doubled over the past 30 years, but most institutions offer grants and bursaries, which is money loaned from certain organizations and individuals to help students pay for school costs.

Some bursaries and grants have certain requirements such as grade point average, volunteer experience, particular disabilities or ethnic backgrounds. Contact your financial aid office for more information.
