The Film & Music Business program shows you the way the entertainment industry is structured, where you can fit in and how to contribute to your own success story or that of other artists. In addition to your regular instructors, guest lecturers from the motion picture and music industry speak on a variety on intriguing issues. Learn about contract negotiation, pitching a script, booking a rock tour, creating promotional materials, publishing rights, mechanical & artist royalties, proper etiquette on a film set and many other essential subjects. The Film and Digital Arts program teaches you how to create your own film, TV pilot, music video or documentary. You‘ll learn writing, directing, casting, shooting, editing, how to finance and where to market your project. Whether you want to find employment in the industry or carve a niche of your own as an independent filmmaker, every aspect of the film industry is covered. Your instructors take your class to visit the sets of films being made around town to see how the pros really do it. The Game Design Program focuses on the artistic elements of game creation. Students learn the entire art pipeline while developing rich and immersive virtual environments. Using the Beyond Virtual game creation suite, students produce fun, engaging games and Machinima movies while learning valuable project and business skills. 3D modeling, animation and world building are all covered, using the same tools as the pros. Graduates have the skills and training necessary to obtain game industry entry level positions like game play tester, 2D conceptual artist, 3D character modeler/animator, 3D environment/world builder, gameplay designer or associate producer.
