Signature Dish: Dosa, which is a South Indian crepe, it is served with sambar (vegetable stew), coconut and tomato chutney. "We have also recently started Hopper Wednesday," says Marjorie. "You get an egg hopper and a plain hopper with your choice of curry and onion sambol."
Training: Keshav has trained in various restaurants in both India and Canada. Marjorie comes from a family of chefs. "My father is a popular chef in Trinidad. He taught me everything I know."
Favorite Fast Food: Neither Keshav nor Marjorie indulge in fast food. "We love to eat the Dosas from here. There is nowhere else we would rather eat," says Keshav.
Years in the Industry: Marjorie has been in the industry for five years while Kesahv has cooked for 20 years.
Defining Dining in Vancouver:"Vancouver is a diner’s paradise," says Marjorie, "because it has a great selection of ethnic food from around the world."

Secret Recipe . . .
Medu Vadai
Ingredients:
2 cups urudhal (white lentil)
A hand full of chopped onions
Spring of chopped curry leaves
A teaspoon of cummin
A teaspoon of chopped green chili’s
A teaspoon of shredded ginger
Method:
Soak urudhal for 2-3 hours
Blend it with very little water to a thick consistency
Add rest of ingredients
Mold into the shape of a donut
Deep fry to a golden brown
Eat with chutney of your choice
