Cricket board seeks details in hotel incident
Thu, June 26 2008
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said that it has sent letters to both hotel management and Sreesanth asking for details of the incident. "Sreesanth is staying there as he is attending the camp at National Cricket Academy. His room has been booked by us. We came to know about the incident in the newspapers and wanted to find out what exactly happened," BCCI Chief Administrative Officer Ratnakar Shetty said. Sreesanth, who has been involved in many controversies including the "slapgate" incident with Harbhajan Singh in the Indian Premier League, reportedly complained about the noisy air-conditioner in his room to the hotel staff and got into an argument with them.
