At Sea Ad Agency, we know that your privacy is important to you. That's why we use a secure Internet clearing house which in turn uses encryption for all credit card transactions. This means that, as a Sea Ad Agency customer, your personal information, which is required for Sea Ad Agency to provide you with service, is protected.

 

In as much as Sea Ad Agency collects your personal information to bring you Sea Ad Agency Service(s), we remain committed to privacy protection and to ensuring that their existing information management practices respect the values included in the Canadian Standards Association's Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information, which is incorporated into Canada's federal privacy legislation.

 

Sea Ad Agency and its partner companies want you to know that we do not collect, use or disclose your personal information, that is, information about you as an identifiable individual, without your consent, unless it is publicly available or we are otherwise permitted or required to do so by law.

 

We will collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:

 

1. To establish and maintain a responsible commercial relationship with you and to provide ongoing service. We also use this information for security purposes. Occasionally, you may want to send us information by e-mail. This information is kept confidential once it is received by Sea Ad Agency, but the security of the e-mail transmission itself cannot be guaranteed.

 

2. To understand your needs and preferences. We maintain a record of the products and services you receive from us, and we may ask for additional information so that we can serve you better. For example, we may request your e-mail address so that we can communicate more efficiently with you.

When do we disclose your personal information?

Personal information about our customers is sometimes disclosed to other parties. This may be done to comply with legal requirements or simply to provide you with the quality and range of service you expect from Sea Ad Agency and its associated companies. When we disclose information, we follow applicable legal decisions or orders. In particular, information is disclosed on a confidential basis and is only used to fulfill specific purposes directly related to the provision of new and existing Sea Ad Agency services. Sharing personal information with other parties.

While our general policy is not to provide personal information to any party outside of Sea Ad Agency’s associated companies, there are certain limited circumstances in which it may be necessary to do so. In particular, Sea Ad Agency may disclose personal information to the following parties:

 

1. Law enforcement agencies. Sea Ad Agency may disclose a customer's personal information to comply with a subpoena, warrant or other court order, or as may otherwise be required by law. Sea Ad Agency may also disclose a customer's personal information to a law enforcement agency for internal security matters.

 

2. Emergency services. Sea Ad Agency will disclose a customers information to an emergency agency in response to a 9-1-1 call and may also disclose personal information when it is clearly in the interest of the customer and consent cannot be obtained in a timely manner.

 

3. A person who, in Sea Ad Agency’s reasonable judgment, is seeking the information as an agent of the customer (e.g. a lawyer acting on the customer's behalf).

 

4. An agency used by Sea Ad Agency to evaluate a customer's credit-worthiness or for the collection of past due invoices with disclosure made on a confidential basis and only for such purposes.

 

5. Program partners in conjunction with special offers or programs, or third-party agents responsible for administering such offers or programs. In such cases, disclosure of your personal information would be made on a confidential basis and only for the purpose of exploring offers to Sea Ad Agency customers. Because Sea Ad Agency is always involved in any such offers we make to Sea Ad Agency customers, we carefully monitor the use that is made of customer information.
