Royal Oak College of design's goal is to build on the experience and momentum of our earlier years, and to continue our emphasis on practical, hands-on learning so that our students gain useable skills. We will develop and enhance our curriculum to ensure that our programs meet the needs of the workplace. To this end we have added two new programs to our curriculum,Graphic Design and Building Design. Both programs have been designed to include a greater number of computer based courses, while at the same time maintaining our committment to developing the students' design ability.
To create a greater range of academic and career opportunities for our students, Royal Oak College of design is working with other institutions and agencies, reaching out to establish new linkages, both within and outside of Canada.
In the years ahead, while addressing the important practicalities of career preparation, the college will also try not to lose sight of its broader responsibility for developing the whole student. We will continue to promote and nurture in the college a rich multicultural environment.
