What do you like the most about her culture?
There’s a great blend of Chinese and Iranian/Iraqi cultural influence in her family, but I’d have to say I’m drawn to the sense of friendship and honour in her family, which Chinese and Iranians both share. |
What do you like the most about his culture?
It is very interesting and ancient. It is very familyoriented and reminds me of Chinese culture, in terms of respect for the past and close-knit family relations.

What do you dislike or find peculiar about her culture?
The smell of some Chinese foods (I think the direct translation is "stinky tofu") and the fruit Durian.

Parents have too many expectations and are over-protective at times.

Not too different, it was different than the usual relationship (I've only dated Iranian girls until now), but they are getting used to it!

Her mom likes to mix things up and the best thing she's come up with is Walnut Chicken and Pomegrante sauce mixed with thick rice noodles.

Jujeh (chicken tender) Kabob and plain basmati rice with butter.
