Matsushita Electric Industrial, the maker of Panasonic products, has developed a prototype of a 103-inch plasma display, the world’s largest plasma screen. The prototype, unveiled recently at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, appears to put Matsushita ahead of Samsung Electronics in a battle over who can develop the biggest flat TV.
Kenpo is an LA clothing manufacturer which happens to have sewn a new British fabric control system into one of its jackets.The buttons are woven into the actual threads of the Kenpo jacket’s sleeve. A wire is piped to a hi-tech ‘pocket’ where your iPod, mini or nano sits safe. The US $275 (C$320) jacket can be shipped to the US and Canada.
