business object logoBusiness Objects Raises $5,325 for Aga Khan Foundation Canada’s 2006 World Partnership Walk

WHAT:          
Vancouver’s Business Objects was presented an award for its 2006 World Partnership Walk fundraising efforts, benefiting the Aga Khan Foundation’s fight against world poverty.

The World Partnership Walk raised a total of $4.8 million.  The funds will go towards developing programs in health, education and rural development, and supporting local community-led initiatives in Asia and Africa. 

 
WHO:            
Business Objects’ Pat Bjerrisgaard, Senior Community Director accepted the award from Jan Munro Senior Manager, Resource Development, Aga Khan Foundation Canada.

Enabling employees to take on leadership roles in the community and make a difference both locally and on a global scale is central to Business Objects effort to support and create value for employees, and in the community.  Time, technology and funds are all made available to employees in their development and execution of initiatives.
