Did you know that BC Children’s Hospital receives more than 176,000 visits each year from sick and injured children across the province? That’s equivalent to 450 patient visits a day.

April 29 marks the ninth anniversary of A World of Smiles Telethon, supporting the incredible, life-saving work at BC Children's Hospital. Once a year, Zindagi TV, Shaw Multicultural Channel, 93.1 RED FM and the South Asian community unite  to create an inspiring and entertaining evening that helps to improve the health and lives of children and their families across the province.

This year, Zindagi TV and 93.1 RED FM are excited to kick off the telethon with “A Night of Miracles” launch event on Thursday, April 5, 2007 from 6:30PM to 11:00PM at The Ravi Banquet Hall, 8166-128th Street, Surrey, BC. Members of the public are invited attend this wonderful evening of dinner, dancing and live entertainment all in support of BC Children’s Hospital.  

This is an opportunity to show how caring the South Asian community can be.  Last year the community demonstrated its generosity by contributing an outstanding $330,000 for BC Children’s Hospital.

Tickets for the launch are $25 each or a table of 10 can be purchased for $250.
