Restaurant Review: Purebread

Purebread has opened up a new location on 5th and Ontario that boasts a larger seating area. The space is spacious, simple and clean. All the classics are still at purebread.

We stuck with some of the classics including the Flourless Brownie, Carrot Cake, and Crack Bar. I also ordered a veggie roll and flat white.

The Flourless Brownie is deliciously airy but creamy, tender with every bite. The cocoa used is not too sweet but enough that it’s still a nice indulgent treat.

The Crack Bar is exactly that – crack. You can’t just have one bite – it’s chewy, toffee-sweet and very addictive. It’s hard to describe the exact taste, but it’s definitely a must-have on their menu.

Their Carrot Cake is a nice portion that’s moist and full of flavour. What I like the most is that they don’t use raisins in their carrot cake.

Their veggie roll is larger than most places and packed with a better, ‘meatier’ flavour.

Purebread’s spot is definitely a go-to during breaks!
