Cafe Sweet & Beans is a full-service restaurant offering drinks, savoury and sweet dishes, and desserts.

The leaning chicken tower is made of chicken wings of at least six pieces. These pieces were pretty big. It’s a popular item. The chicken was coated with their spices. They have this dish on special for Wing Wednesdays with purchase of a beverage.

Belly Benedict isn’t your typical eggs benedict. It’s open-faced and deconstructed. There are big cubes of pork belly, onion jam, raisin jam, hollandaise, sourdough bread, poached egg, arugula, cauliflower puree, and Parmigiano cheese. The flavors went well together.

There are a few different versions of the Lava bread like banana and Injeolmi. Injeolmi seemed to be pretty popular, but we went with Strawberry and Mango lava bread. The dessert can easily be shared. The syrup was bit heavy but other than that, the fruits had a tasty glaze.

The mango smoothie was half sweet. It’s a nice option for those who want their beverages less sugary. We got a large matcha latte half sweet. It was refreshing.

Cafe Sweet & Beans caters to those who want a full meal or just want a drink to hang out with friends. It’s a good space to just chill, study, or have a meeting. It’s a much-needed space in this neighbourhood.
